SUBJECT: Schwa Set to Release Another Studio Recording
ekoostik hookah is set to release their ninth studio recording, Brij. The release date was speculated as "soon", but without a set in stone definition. The recording is currently in a finished state, with it being at the printers for duplication. The song tracks remain a mystery, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what kind of joy the band brings to us this time around.

SUBJECT: What's All the Hoopla?
Due to a change in their original agreement, hookah has canned their tri-yearly "Hookah In the Hills" event that usually takes place at Poston Lake near Athens, OH. In place of this event, they have schedule their own new festival, El Ranchero, to take place at the beloved Frontier Ranch. Hookah In the Hills has been renamed Hoopla In the Hills and will still take place the same weekend. Anyone disappointed about the move who has already purchased Hoopla In the Hills tickets, can contact Curtis with Big Events Presents for a refund.

Although this is not an official site of ekoostik hookah, I will attempt to portray an accurate representation of the band's history since their inception - sometime around April of 1991.
My beginning attachment to this scene started with Dave Katz, pre-hookah. He was in Local Color at the time, when he eventually had an incling to go his own way and do his own thing.
